Album Notes & Community Reviews

Fusing the ferocity of Nordic melodic death metal with traditional Japanese folk instruments, 'Thousand Swords' introduces a concept the band dubs 'Samurai Metal'. The Finnish group utilizes shamisen and koto melodies alongside sweeping symphonic arrangements to narrate epic tales of ancient eastern warfare.
