Album Notes & Community Reviews

Stepping forward with his latest independent studio catalog entry, the Okkervil River leader highlights a dense literary lyricism on 'Extra Mile'. The songs are carried by intricate indie folk instrumentation including acoustic fingerpicking, subtle horn flourishes, and strings. The recording underscores an intimate, texturally rich approach to modern singer-songwriter architectures.
