Album Notes & Community Reviews

Returning to the musical sphere after a lengthy hiatus, Will Smith delivers a polished pop-rap project heavily colored by themes of Christian faith, ageing, and hard-earned optimism. The production surprisingly incorporates modern trap rhythms alongside his trademark playful and boastful lyricism. 'Based on a True Story' serves as an uplifting, highly autobiographical reflection on his enduring public legacy and personal spiritual journey.
