Divertissement

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The legendary tape loop pioneer reunites with longtime collaborator Richard Chartier to construct an intensely minimal, deeply shadowy auditory environment. 'Divertissement' relies on incredibly sparse, repeating analog tape textures that slowly degrade and shift over lengthy durations. The album is a profoundly calming, yet subtly ominous exploration of extreme dark ambient minimalism.
