Album Notes & Community Reviews
Solidifying his immensely fruitful partnership with powerhouse vocalist H茅ctor Lavoe, the young trombonist delivered a gritty, defining monument of New York salsa. The aggressive, dual-trombone brass section and unapologetically street-level, mobster-themed aesthetic revolutionized the Latin music industry, capturing the raw, dangerous energy of the Bronx.
