Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Petal Rock Black' finds WILLOW exploring a sophisticated fusion of genres, blending the intricate structures of art rock with the lush arrangements of progressive soul. The album is further enriched by elements of jazz-rock, a direction amplified by collaborations with jazz saxophonist Kamasi Washington and funk legend George Clinton. The result is a texturally rich and musically ambitious project that pushes the boundaries of her established sound.
