Partially recorded aboard a yacht in the Virgin Islands, 'London Town' features a significantly more relaxed, acoustic-driven atmosphere compared to Wings' earlier arena rock releases. The sessions were notably fractured by the departure of two core band members, effectively reducing the group to a trio during final production.
