Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the rushed, incredibly raw debut of Paul McCartney's newly formed post-Beatles group, this LP was reportedly recorded in barely over a week. The production is intentionally unpolished, capturing spontaneous studio jams and simple, direct pop-rock compositions that contrast sharply with his meticulous 60s output. Initially receiving harsh critical backlash, its breezy, unpretentious charm has been reappraised by modern listeners.
