Album Notes & Community Reviews
Serving as a direct companion piece to their self-titled 2015 release, the veteran post-punk innovators take a much more studio-oriented approach to this collection of songs. The record heavily features synthesizers, drum loops, and atmospheric effects, pushing their jagged, minimalist guitar rock into dreamier, abstract territories. It remains a fascinating testament to their refusal to rely on 1970s nostalgia.
