Album Notes & Community Reviews

Attempting to adapt to the resurgence of British heavy metal, the veteran progressive-leaning outfit delivered their heaviest and most straightforward rock album to date. Featuring Uriah Heep's Trevor Bolder on bass, 'Twin Barrels Burning' prioritizes aggressive, riff-driven anthems and slick AOR production over their signature dual-guitar folk-rock explorations. The stylistic shift surprisingly resulted in one of their highest-charting albums in the UK.
