Album Notes & Community Reviews

A crucial entry in the legendary Polish Jazz series, this album showcases the saxophonist and pianist pushing heavily into free jazz territory. 'Heart' balances moments of stark, nocturnal lyricism with ferocious, dissonant group improvisations. The recording is a testament to the adventurous, highly original avant-garde movement thriving within the Polish jazz scene during the late 1960s.
