Operating as a meticulous love letter to the early 1970s progressive rock giants, the Norwegian ensemble's debut was famously recorded using strictly vintage analog equipment. The sprawling, complex compositions are dominated by highly authentic Mellotron, Moog, and Hammond organ interplay, avoiding any modern digital synthesizers.
