Album Notes & Community Reviews

The London-based quartet's sophomore effort is a wildly eclectic, structurally ambitious expansion of their grunge-pop sound. The album rapidly oscillates between furious, screaming punk anthems, shimmering shoegaze ballads, and massive, stadium-sized alternative rock. The highly confident, genre-fluid approach secured the band the prestigious Mercury Prize, establishing them as one of the UK's premier rock acts.
