Album Notes & Community Reviews

This EMI/Columbia recording features the Philharmonia Orchestra and Chorus conducted by Carlo Maria Giulini, with a cast including Eberhard W盲chter and Joan Sutherland. It remains a critically central document of Mozart's opera buffa, noted for Giulini's firm grasp of the work's dramatic pacing and underlying demonic tension.
