For their seventh album, the pioneering Cascadian black metal group completely self-produced the record in their own rural Washington studio. The project heavily emphasizes grandiose, sweeping synthesizers alongside their traditional blast beats and eco-spiritual lyrical themes, leaning further into symphonic black metal territory. It was well-received as a cinematic, meticulously crafted ode to the mysticism of the Pacific Northwest.
