Album Notes & Community Reviews

The South London producer's debut for Warp Records integrates the grit of 1990s grunge and the rhythmic urgency of post-punk into an experimental hip-hop framework. The arrangements utilize distorted guitars and live, often frantic percussion to explore themes of urban anxiety and displacement. It reflects the genre-fluid creative environment of the modern London alternative scene through high-contrast sound design.
