Shriek

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Baltimore duo drastically reimagines their sound on their fourth album, completely discarding their signature electric guitars in favor of remarkably lush analog synthesizers and electric bass. 'Shriek' pairs incredibly bright, bouncing electronic rhythms with Jenn Wasner's remarkably powerful, soaring vocal melodies. The record stands as a wonderfully melodic, deeply texturized, and wildly successful stylistic reinvention.
