Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Sacrificium' marks the highly anticipated debut of powerful Dutch soprano Dianne van Giersbergen, pushing the German symphonic metal band toward an increasingly grandiose and classically arranged sound. The album is a massive, heavily orchestrated affair, featuring genuine choirs and sweeping string sections that rival the scale of major cinematic soundtracks. It stands as a triumphant, bombastic highlight in the band's extensive catalog.
