Album Notes & Community Reviews

The second and final album from the Liverpool-based quintet Yachts finds the band leaning heavily into dark, heavily synthesized new wave textures. Produced by Martin Rushent, 'Without Radar' abandons much of the quirky, organ-driven power pop of their debut in favor of a gloomier, more expansive atmosphere. The record failed to achieve commercial success, leading to the group's dissolution shortly after.
