I Remember I Forget بنسى وبتذكر

Album Notes & Community Reviews

On 'I Remember I Forget بنسى وبتذكر', Yasmine Hamdan continues her synthesis of traditional Arabic songcraft with contemporary electronic production, blending electro-pop and atmospheric, ambient textures. The album's lyrical themes navigate personal and collective memory, loss, and resilience, anchored by Hamdan's evocative and intimate vocal delivery. The production juxtaposes warm synth washes and minimalist beats against melodies and motifs drawn from pan-Arabic folk traditions, creating a sound that is both modern and deeply rooted in cultural heritage.
