Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Aldyn Dashka' pairs the kargyraa throat singing of Albert Kuvezin with a full rock band, folding Tuvan traditional melody into folk rock structures without diluting either source. Kuvezin is joined by khoomei singer Aldyn-ool Sevek, percussionist Zhenya Tkachov and vocalist Sailyk Ommun, and the album stands as a central document of Yat-Kha's fusion of Central Asian overtone singing and Western rock instrumentation.
