Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the duo's swan song before their premature disbandment, this highly anticipated sophomore effort achieved massive commercial success, effortlessly topping the UK albums chart. 'You and Me Both' juxtaposes Vince Clarke's icy, intricate analog synthesizer programming with Alison Moyet's incredibly warm, powerful blues-inflected vocal performances. The bittersweet, highly melodic record remains a flawless, foundational masterpiece of 1980s electronic pop.
