Album Notes & Community Reviews

On their seventh full-length album, 'Confusion Gate', the band expands its atmospheric black metal foundation by weaving in textures from ambient, industrial, and neofolk traditions. The songwriting balances harsh, raw passages of dissonant, layered guitars and high-pitched screams with melodic, atmospheric sections that incorporate synths, field recordings, and medieval instruments. This creates a dense and surreal soundscape that explores themes of nature and spiritual exile through its expansive and intricately structured compositions.
