Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Brooklyn-based black metal quartet weaves chilling field recordings captured in Siberia throughout this incredibly dense, dissonant release. The record balances furious, chaotic blast beats with strangely melodic, almost hallucinatory guitar leads, avoiding traditional black metal tropes in favor of an overwhelming, paranoid atmosphere. It secured their reputation as a premier, boundary-pushing act within the USBM underground.
