Album Notes & Community Reviews

Heavily produced by DJ Mustard, the Compton rapper's major-label debut single-handedly revitalized the West Coast gangsta rap sound by marrying it with sparse, incredibly bouncy club production. Operating as a loose day-in-the-life concept album, the project details gang affiliations, house burglaries, and hedonistic partying. It spawned several inescapable, platinum-selling hits like 'My Nigga' and 'Who Do You Love?'.
