Album Notes & Community Reviews

Continuing his absolute mastery of lightning-fast, classically-inspired shred guitar, Yngwie Malmsteen delivers exactly what the title promises with 'Magnum Opus'. The album features his signature, highly technical arpeggios perfectly paired with the soaring, powerful vocals of Michael Vescera. It completely ignores 90s alternative trends, maintaining the deeply grandiose, technically demanding aesthetic of classic 80s neoclassical metal.
