The second full-length album from the Montreal-based trio sees the band delve deeper into their signature sound, which merges the driving, repetitive rhythms of krautrock with the atmospheric grandeur of post-rock and the noisy textures of shoegaze. [9, 12] The band, whose name is a tribute to a song by the German band Can, builds sprawling, mostly instrumental pieces that are both hypnotic and intensely heavy. [9, 11] The album features five long-form tracks that showcase the group's dynamic range, from cathartic walls of sound to more subtle, synth-laden soundscapes. [9, 14]
