Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Montreal-based trio further hones their powerful, genre-blending sound on this album. 'From the Heights of Our Pastureland' is a sprawling and cinematic work that fuses the relentless, motorik propulsion of krautrock with the atmospheric grandeur of post-rock and the crushing weight of post-metal. The record is a hypnotic and heavy journey, driven by repetitive rhythms that build into towering, psychedelic climaxes.
