Album Notes & Community Reviews

Formed as a side project by members of The Feelies, the group allowed percussionist Dave Weckerman to take over lead vocal and songwriting duties. 'Shore Leave' retains the parent band's signature nervous energy and jangling guitars while introducing a more direct, melodic pop sensibility. The recording remains a notable artifact of the New Jersey independent music scene in the late eighties.
