Album Notes & Community Reviews

Houston rapper Z-Ro, of the Screwed Up Click, made 'King of da Ghetto' a document of Southern gangsta rap at its most confessional, its verses moving between street narrative, faith and despair. His melodic baritone delivery distinguishes the record within Texas rap.
