Album Notes & Community Reviews

After a twelve-year wait, Mukai Shutoku's legendary math rock outfit returns with a furiously tight, highly technical display of jagged post-punk and chaotic funk rock. Navigating mind-bending uncommon time signatures with mechanical precision, the deeply rhythmic arrangements are perfectly punctuated by Mukai's distinctly humorous, manic vocal deliveries. It is a wildly repetitive, masterfully heavy resurgence from the Japanese indie rock titans.
