Album Notes & Community Reviews

Moving toward an even more subdued and skeletal musical framework, the Chicago-based trio crafted an intensely intimate auditory experience with this release. The songs utilize sparse percussion, murmuring vocals, and heavily delayed guitars to create a pervasive sense of nocturnal isolation. It is frequently cited as a meditative, haunting exploration of the boundaries between ambient music and slowcore.
