Album Notes & Community Reviews

Jaakko Vanhala constructs a terrifying, intensely claustrophobic atmosphere utilizing deeply obscured field recordings, scraping metals, and ritualistic percussion. The subterranean drones and eerie vocal incantations evoke the sensation of exploring ancient, forgotten catacombs. It is highly regarded as a masterpiece of modern ritual dark ambient.
