Biography

Alas was an Argentine progressive rock trio formed in Buenos Aires in 1974 by Gustavo Moretto with Alex Zuker and Carlos Riganti. Its debut 'Alas' (1976) fused symphonic rock, jazz and tango, and the follow-up 'Pinta tu aldea', recorded with Pedro Aznar, appeared in 1983. The band reunited in 2003 for the album 'Mimame bandoneón' (2005), after a quarter-century apart.
