Biography
Anata is a technical death metal band from Varberg, Sweden, formed in 1993 and led throughout by guitarist and vocalist Fredrik Sch盲lin. Signed to #Season of Mist# after two demos, the band debuted with 'The Infernal Depths of Hatred' in 1998 and developed a melodic yet highly contrapuntal sound across 'Dreams of Death and Dismay', 'Under a Stone With No Inscription' and 'The Conductor's Departure'. After years of inactivity caused by label problems, the band began recording a new album in 2023.
