Anna Högberg Attack

Biography

Anna Högberg Attack is the sextet of Swedish alto saxophonist Anna Högberg, a leading figure in Scandinavian free jazz. The band plays her compositions, folk-tinged themes that erupt into fierce collective improvisation, on the acclaimed albums 'Anna Hogberg Attack' (2016) and 'Lena' (2020), both on #Omlott#. Högberg also performs with *Fire! Orchestra* and other large improvising ensembles, and the group tours widely across Europe's jazz and improvised music festivals.
