Biography
Annie, born Anne Lilia Berge Strand in Trondheim, Norway, is a singer, songwriter, producer and DJ who emerged from Bergen with the 1999 single 'The Greatest Hit', made with Tore Kroknes. Her debut album 'Anniemal' in 2004, released on #679 Recordings#, established a distinctive electropop voice that balanced club production with personal songwriting. She followed it with 'Don't Stop' in 2009 and, after a long interval of singles and collaborations, the reflective synth pop album 'Dark Hearts' in 2020. Based in Berlin, she remains a self directed pop artist working at the intersection of dance music and song form.
