Biography
Polish psychedelic rock band from Gdynia, formed in 1983 by J臋drzej Kodymowski, its singer, guitarist and only constant member. Apteka blended post-punk and acid rock with sardonic lyrics about post-communist Poland, winning album of the year honours for 'Narkotyki' (1992). After a long hiatus the band returned in 2007 and remains active, with Kodymowski fronting a settled trio lineup on stage and record.
