Biography
Aquelarre was an Argentine progressive rock band formed in Buenos Aires in 1971 by former *Almendra* members Emilio del Guercio and Rodolfo GarcÃa, joined by Héctor Starc and Hugo González Neira. Their four studio albums, from 'Aquelarre' in 1972 to 'Siesta' in 1975, combined complex rhythms, surreal lyrics and free jazz touches. After a spell in Spain, they returned for a farewell concert in 1977 and disbanded.
