Biography

Arachno茂d were a French progressive rock band from Gournay-sur-Marne. Re-formed in the late 1970s, the six-piece group recorded one album, 'Arachno茂d' (1979), a dark symphonic record built on Mellotron, layered keyboards and theatrical vocals, in the vein of *King Crimson* and *Ange*. They split soon after its release, leaving a single album that is now prized as a classic of French progressive rock. The verified album line-up is listed under the one-album exception.
