Biography
Artful Dodger is a power pop band from Fairfax, Virginia, formed in 1973. Fronted by Billy Paliselli with guitarists Gary Herrewig and Gary Cox, bassist Steve Cooper and drummer Steve Brigida, the band recorded three albums for #Columbia#, 'Artful Dodger', 'Honor Among Thieves' and 'Babes on Broadway', that married arena rock power to sharp pop melody. Commercially overlooked in the 1970s, the records are now prized by power pop collectors, and the classic line-up still reunites.
