Biography
Rock band from Sarajevo formed in 1974 by Goran Bregović, and the biggest group in Yugoslav rock history. Fronted first by Željko Bebek and later by Alen Islamović, Bijelo Dugme moved from hard rock through new wave to folk-influenced pop across nine albums before disbanding in 1989; a reunion followed in 2005. Their 2005 reunion concerts sold out stadiums in three capitals.
