Biography
Bill Hicks was an American stand-up comedian from Houston, Texas, whose dark satire targeted consumerism, religion and politics. A star of the Texas Outlaw Comics scene with a devoted British following, he recorded 'Dangerous' and 'Relentless' before dying of pancreatic cancer in 1994, aged thirty-two. Posthumous releases such as 'Arizona Bay' made him one of stand-up's most revered and frequently quoted figures.
