Biography

Birch Book is the solo project of B'eirth, the American singer and songwriter behind *In Gowan Ring*, created to explore a plainer, less psychedelic side of his writing. Albums including 'Birch Book' in 2005, 'Fortune & Folly', 'A Hand Full of Days' and 'Casting Lines: A Museum of Memory' present intimate folk songs for guitar, harps and harmonica, sung in a dreamy voice often compared with *Nick Drake*. The project is a one person undertaking, not a band, despite the group billing on the stored document.
