Biography
BOaT was a Japanese indie band formed in 1997 and fronted by AxSxE and Ain. Its music moved from quirky, funk and soul influenced pop punk on 'Soul Thrash Train' (1999) and 'Listening Suicidal' (2000) toward experimental post rock on the final record, 'RORO' (2001). The band then split, with AxSxE and Ain forming *Natsumen*, where most of the members later regrouped.
