Biography
Bob Drake is an American multi-instrumentalist and engineer, a founding member of Thinking Plague and a member of the 5uu's, Hail and The Science Group. Born in Cleveland in 1957, he played bass and drums across Thinking Plague's early albums while building a parallel career engineering mainstream records in Los Angeles. His solo albums, beginning with 'What Day Is It', are dense, playful avant-pop miniatures performed and recorded entirely by himself. Now based in France, Drake remains a central figure of the Rock in Opposition afterlife.
