Body Meat

Biography

Body Meat is Christopher Taylor, an American experimental pop musician based between Philadelphia and New York. Working solo since 2016, Taylor softens R&B, IDM, trap, footwork and metal into warm, rhythmically loose songs built from resampled vocals and video game samples. After EPs including 'Truck Music' (2019) and 'Year of the Orc' (2021) for #Partisan Records#, he released his debut album 'Starchris' (2024), a thirteen-track concept record structured like a role-playing game, with each song a level in a transformative journey.
