Biography
Bondage Fruit are a Japanese zeuhl-influenced avant-progressive band formed in Tokyo in 1990 around guitarist Natsuki Kido and violinist Yuji Katsui. Their early albums 'Bondage Fruit' (1994) and 'Bondage Fruit II' (1996), released on their own #Maboroshi no Sekai# label, combined *Magma*-like zeuhl, improvisation and female vocals. After their vocalists departed, the band pursued fierce instrumental improvisation through 'Bondage Fruit IV', 'V: Skin' and 'VI', then returned after nineteen years with 'VII' in 2024.
