Biography
New York art rock band Bongwater, formed by Ann Magnuson and Mark Kramer of #Shimmy Disc#, were as much a performance art troupe as a rock group. With drummer David Licht and guitarist Dave Rick, they fused dream-journal spoken word, surreal satire and psychedelic covers across 'Double Bummer', 'Too Much Sleep' and 'The Power of Pussy'. The band dissolved in 1992 after 'The Big Sell-Out', ending Magnuson and Kramer's partnership.
