Biography
Borghesia is a Slovenian electronic duo from Ljubljana, formed in 1982 by Dario Seraval and Aldo Ivan膷i膷 out of the theatre group #FV 112/15#. Their music fuses drum machines, sequencers and sampled speech into a stark electronic body music first heard on 'Ljubav je hladnija od smrti', then developed across 'No Hope, No Fear', 'Escorts and Models' and 'Resistance' for #Play It Again Sam#. After a hiatus from the mid 1990s, the duo resumed recording with 'And Man Created God' in 2014 and 'Proti kapitulaciji' in 2018, keeping the confrontational multimedia character of the original project intact.
